Men's shoe and boot styles intrigue me, and I sometimes poke around the Internet looking for what's new. And what's crazy, outrageous, and bizarre.

Thinking you might also find these footwear examples of interest, I've included a selection of photographs here. (Some of these are actually mine!)

Selection criteria: the shoes and boots must be unusual -- the more unusual the better -- and they must have some element of style, at least as far as I'm concerned.

I suppose some folks might like to search the Internet for kayaks, old postage stamps, equipment leasing projects, or financing plans, but there's something about shoe and boot styles that captures my attention.

There's an enormous variety of alternative men's footwear available, but in general, men seem hesitant to deviate from sneakers, work shoes, work boots, and what-seems-to-be-increasingly-popular: sandals and flip-flops. Looking at some of the alternatives shown here, I guess that's not surprising.
